Product Description
Super-Duper Soft and Absorbent
Thea linen cotton blend bath sheet is the softest it can get. It is double-layered yet very compact and lightweight. Due to its loose weave nature, it also dries very fast. It will readily be your favourite bath sheet at home or your travel towel while away. It is a highly tactile and pleasant towel with eyelash tassels.
It will be hard to settle for another bath sheet after using this one. What we love about this towel apart from its delightful softness is its toned-down simplicity and naturalism.

Peshtemal is a woven fabric that has evolved from the historical Turkish hammam tradition going back 600 years. Peshtemal hammam clothes were widely used as a wrap when men and women in the Ottoman era were washing in the public hammam baths to cover their bodies. Now, they have moved beyond the boundaries of hammam and have become trendy bath, beach, and travel towels high in demand. In the UK, they are commonly known as Hammam Towels.
Hammam towels have a very distinctive stripy pattern with hand-finished tassels on the fringes which make them truly authentic. They are 100% pure cotton. Linen and bamboo blends are also sought-after. The average size of the hammam bath sheet is 90 x 180 cm and the hand towel is 50 x 90 cm. And the average weight is 250 grams. Due to their flat-woven nature, these hammam towels are absolutely lightweight and compact to pack & carry. They have made a name for themselves for being very absorbent and fast drying. With each wash, hammam towels will get softer and more absorbent.
The Turkish hammam towels are very versatile and durable. Their compactness allows them to be used on various occasions as a picnic | beach blanket, sofa throw & cover, children’s blanket, tablecloth, shawl, or sarong. Hammam bathrobes made out of hammam cloth are also excellent bath and beachwear with their fast-drying properties and lightness.
There are a few hubs across Turkey where peshtemal hammam towels have been woven traditionally on the hand-looms to this day. We source our hammam towels straight from the local weavers at the Denizli province in the South-West of Turkey.
It is recommended to wash this product in a gentle cycle programme in lukewarm or cold water. It is important to wash it at a low-spin program to protect the tassels
Washing tasseled products in a wash bag may further help keep tassels intact
Use a non-biological detergent to maintain the colour and texture of your linen
Try not to use the fabric conditioner
Remove your linen from washing as soon as the cycle ends to avoid wrinkles
We don’t recommend tumble-drying. The best practice is to reshape it while wet and leave it to dry naturally. It is far better for the environment as well as for your energy bills and the quality of the product
Keep them away from strong, direct heat while drying
